Dropnote
Give your guests a quiet place to leave a note, before they go to Yelp, or Google.
A private, asynchronous message box for your location. No apps for them, no instant-reply pressure for you.
This is not live chat. Messages arrive asynchronously and your team replies when available.
How it works
- Create a location and a message point (e.g., "Table 4" or "Main Lobby")
- Print the QR code for that message point.
- Receive messages in a calm inbox and reply when you are available.
Dropnote acts as a pressure valve
It gives people a place to share frustration or appreciation in the moment, privately, before it spills elsewhere.
Impulse
A guest has a frustration or a compliment in the moment.
Outlet
They scan the code at your location. No login, no app, just a blank note for them to write.
Resolution
You get a private message. You reply when you're back at your desk. The guest feels heard and you can respond in private.
What Dropnote is not
- Not a Chat App: No blue checks or "typing..." indicators.
- Not a Data Mine: We don't track your customers or sell their data.
- Not a Pager: No emergency alerts. Just a quiet inbox.
Where to drop a note
- The Gallery: "Ask a question about an artist or leave a note of appreciation."
- The Restaurant: "A private note about your dining experience, vent a frustration or send a 'thank you'."
- The Hotel: "Share a private thought on your stay, from room comfort to staff kudos."
- The Boutique: "Let us know what you were looking for today that we didn't have in stock."
